At 417 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to indicate a severe thunderstorm that was likely producing a tornado. This dangerous storm was located near Givens... moving southeast at 30 mph.
This storm will affect mainly rural areas of eastern Pike County... including Beaver and Stockdale.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
If you are near the path of this storm... take cover now! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Mobile homes and vehicles should be abandoned for more substantial shelter. Avoid windows!

In addition... Lake White... Givens... Stockdale and Beaver are near the path of this severe thunderstorm.
