Showers with embedded thunderstorms will move east across the area through 1130 am. Heavier showers and embedded thunderstorms will produce heavy rainfall that will reduce visibilities to less than a mile. Also...rainfall amounts will range between a half an inch to an inch an a quarter...with rainfall rates as much as an inch an hour. Local ponding of water in low lying areas and poor drainage areas will be possible. Embedded thunderstorms may also contain wind gusts to around 40 mph and small hail.

* heavy thunderstorm rains will cause flooding of low lying areas
