Statement as of 9:41 AM CDT on March 16, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Missouri River at Napoleon.
* At 8:30 am Tuesday the stage was 17.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 18.3 feet by
Monday evening. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 17.0 feet... low-lying areas unprotected by levees begin to
flood.
