Areal Flood Warning
Statement as of 12:30 AM EDT on June 30, 2015

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has extended the

* Flood Warning for urban areas and small streams in...
Paulding County in west central Ohio...
Van Wert County in west central Ohio...
Putnam County in west central Ohio...
Williams County in northwestern Ohio...
Fulton County in northwestern Ohio...
central Allen County in west central Ohio...
Henry County in northwestern Ohio...
Defiance County in northwestern Ohio...

* until 1245 PM EDT Tuesday

* at 1221 am EDT... latest reports from Northwest Ohio indicated that
flood waters were receding in most of the area... however some
roads remained closed due to flooding in low lying and poor
drainage areas. In addition... flooding on many rivers was
continuing in the area. Despite scattered showers today...
flooding should generally continue to gradually subside. The only
exception will be near rivers where some rises in flood waters are
still expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
