EST Thursday...

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches.

* Timing... rain will transition to snow late this morning into the
afternoon hours. The snow will remain across the area tonight
into Thursday morning before diminishing.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions are possible due to
reduced visibilities and snow accumulations.

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southeast Indiana... Kentucky and Ohio... including
the following areas... in southeast Indiana... Ohio and
Switzerland. In Kentucky... Boone... Bracken... Campbell...
Carroll... Gallatin... Grant... Kenton... Lewis... Mason... Owen...
Pendleton and Robertson. In Ohio... Adams... Brown... Clermont...
Clinton... Fairfield... Fayette OH... Hamilton... Highland...
Hocking... Pickaway... Pike... Ross... Scioto and Warren.

* Until 2 PM EST this afternoon

* moderate to heavy rain will affect the watch area this morning.
A half inch to an inch of additional rain is possible with
localized higher amounts before rain changes to snow through the
day today. With snow on the ground and frozen soils... runoff
from the rainfall could be significant and lead to widespread
flooding of poorly drained areas... low lying areas... small
creeks and streams... and some rivers.

* Light to moderate rain will continue to move across the region
into the early morning. The rain combined with snow melt may
produce minor flooding through the morning rush hour.

* Minor flooding of low lying and poorly drained streets... highways
and underpasses will continue to occur. In addition... farmland near
creeks... streams and drainage ditches will continue to experience
minor flooding.
