... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from late tonight through
late Sunday night...

* snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches.

* Timing... snow is expected to spread into the area tonight and then
continue into Sunday night.

* Time of heaviest snow... expected during the day on Sunday.

* Snow end time... gradually end from west to east Sunday night.

* Impacts... snow will be the main threat during this event.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected due to reduced
visibility from the snow and snow accumulation.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means that heavy snow is possible. If you
are within the watch area... remain alert to rapidly changing
weather conditions. Stay tuned to the National Weather Service or
the local news media for the latest updates and possible
warnings.

... Record low temperature set for today Saturday February 28...

So far the record low for Toledo Express Airport has been minus 9
degrees at 656 am... the previous record was minus 7 set one year ago
in 2014.

The record low at Mansfield lahm Airport was minus 5 degrees at
440 am... the previous record was minus 3 degrees set 1934.

The record low at Cleveland Hopkins was minus 9 at 713 am... the
previous record was zero set way back in 1884.

The low of minus 8 at Youngstown Airport at 705 am tied the record
set one year ago in 2014.

The low so far at Akron Canton Regional Airport was minus 3 degrees
which is one degree away from the record of minus 4 set in 1934.

The low at Erie International Airport so far has been minus 2 degrees
the record for today is minus 7 degrees set one year ago in 2014.

Additional updates will be issued if the temperatures go any lower
this morning.
