As deepening low pressure moves into the St Lawrence Valley tonight... southerly winds will increase. The low will pass west of the area early Thursday morning... which is when the strongest winds will occur.
Highest wind speeds are expected throughout coastal sections... as well as higher elevations inland. Also... any thunderstorms that develop could help bring much stronger winds aloft to the surface.
