The National Weather Service in Albany New York will be holding the following fall 2009 Skywarn winter weather workshops. In Putney Vermont... on November 12... at 630 PM. In Indian Lake New York... on November 14... at 10 am. In Glenville New York... on November 16... at 700 PM. In Johnstown New York... on November 18... at 700 PM. Pre registration is required for all Skywarn winter weather workshops. These workshops are only open to current Skywarn spotters and people interested in joining the community collaborative rain... hail... and snow network. Pre registration is only available via the internet. To Register by internet go to www.Weather.Gov. Then click on eastern New York... and look for the link to Skywarn spotter training. If you do not have internet access... you may be able to Register via the internet at your local Library.
