* Flood Warning for the Beaver kill near Cooks Falls. * Until Friday morning. * At 1:00 PM Thursday the stage was 8.5 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 10.0 feet. * Forecast... rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and continue to rise to between 10.50 and 10.75 feet by this evening. The river will fall below flood stage by tonight. * Impact... at 10.0 feet... minor flooding begins.

... Storm survey team finds straight line wind damage...
A National Weather Service storm survey team from the Binghamton forecast office traveled to Oneida County today to investigate damage that occurred from a storm that passed from Onondaga County to Oneida County during the early morning hours of July 23.
Damage in Oneida County was consistent with straight line downburst winds... and not a tornado.
This is a preliminary report. Additional details will be provided at a later time.
