... Lake effect snow watch remains in effect from late tonight
through late Friday night...

* locations... Jefferson County.

* Timing... from late tonight through overnight Friday night.

* Accumulations... 6 to 12 inches are possible in the most
persistent lake snows.

* Winds... southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Visibilities... as low as a quarter mile at times.

* Impacts... lake effect snow may result in difficult travel at
times with snow covered roads and greatly reduced visibilities.

* Forecaster confidence... high. An intense band of heavy lake
effect snow is likely to develop late tonight and Friday and
impact portions of Jefferson County.
