* locations... western and southern Adirondacks... Schoharie
valley... eastern Catskills... western Mohawk Valley...
helderbergs and southern Vermont.

* Hazard types... dangerous to potentially life threatening wind
chills.

* Wind chill readings... 30 to 50 below zero at times.

* Timing... through early Sunday afternoon.

* Impacts... wind chills will reach dangerous to potentially life
threatening levels. Frigid temperatures have the potential to
result in frozen pipes... frostbite and hypothermia in a short
amount of time.

* Winds... northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Temperatures... 15 below zero to 30 below zero by late tonight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
