The lake Wind Advisory is now in effect from 4 PM this afternoon
to 8 PM PDT this evening.

* Winds: increasing to southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts around 30
mph late in the afternoon.

* Wave heights: becoming 2 to 3 feet by late in the afternoon. The
biggest waves will be along the Eastern Shores of area lakes.

* Small boats will be prone to capsizing and should get off of
lake waters before winds and chop increase.

through Tuesday evening.

The strongest winds this week may occur Tuesday afternoon and
evening across western Nevada. West winds of 15 to 25 mph with
gusts 35 to 40 mph are forecast to combine with afternoon humidity
of 5 to 10 percent. With fuels rapidly drying across western
Nevada... potential weather conditions are conducive to rapid fire
growth.
