Laughlin... Needles... Mesquite... Lake Havasu City... Bullhead City... and near 125 degrees in Death Valley.

The temperature climbed to 106 degrees today in Bishop California. This reading broke the previous record high for the date which was 104 degrees set in 2002.
The afternoon high temperature at the Barstow Daggett Airport in southeast California reached 113 degrees... which tied the record high for the date last set in 1976. Down the Colorado River... the temperature at The Needles Municipal Airport soared to 117 degrees tieing the record for the date last set in 1985.
