night. A stronger system will impact the Sierra and valleys of
northeast California and western Nevada Friday and Friday night.
... Snow accumulations...
Tuesday night... expect 1 to 2 inches in the Lake Tahoe basin and
near fredonyer Summit with 2 to 4 inches above 7000 feet in the
Tahoe basin. Lower western Nevada valleys and the Highway 395
corridor will see little if any accumulation.
Friday and Friday night... significant snow is possible in the
Sierra. A foot or 2 of snow is possible in the High Sierra with
several inches of snow at Lake Tahoe level. Lower Valley locations
including along Highway 395... I-80 and Highway 50 could receive a
few inches of snow Friday night.

Travelers over the Sierra passes and around the Tahoe basin should
expect slick conditions Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. For
Friday and Friday night it is likely that heavy snow and gusty
winds will affect the Sierra. Valley locations could also be
impacted by snow and slick roads Friday night and Saturday
morning.
