The strongest winds this week are likely occur Tuesday afternoon
and evening across western Nevada and Mono County California. West
winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph are forecast to combine
with afternoon humidity of 5 to 10 percent. With fuels rapidly
drying across western Nevada... potential weather conditions are
conducive to rapid fire growth.
Gusty southwest winds are expected again Wednesday afternoon and
evening with winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts to 35 mph as relative
humidity drops to 10 to 15 percent.
