Windy...mostly clear. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the evening east of Fallon and Lovelock. Lows 51 to 61. West winds 15 to 25 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Gusts up to 40 mph in the evening.

A lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from noon today to 11 PM PDT this evening.
* Winds: southwest winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph by early afternoon and then decrease to 10 to 15 mph by late evening.
* Wave heights: 2 to 4 feet Sunday afternoon and evening with the highest waves on the northern and Eastern Shores of Pyramid Lake.
* Small boats will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve.

A red flag warning remains in effect from noon today to 11 PM PDT this evening.
Low pressure moving across the region will bring widespread windy conditions this afternoon and evening. Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected. Ridges above 7000 feet will see higher gusts. Humidity levels will fall to near 15 percent in valley locations. Strong winds and low humidity levels will result in critical fire weather conditions.
