valley and western Mojave Desert. In Nevada... Esmeralda and
central Nye County... Lake Mead National Recreation Area... Las
Vegas Valley... Lincoln County... northeast Clark County... Sheep
Range... southern Clark County... Spring Mountains-Red Rock
Canyon and western Clark and southern Nye County.

* abundant moisture will remain over the watch area through the
evening. A disturbance embedded in the moist southerly flow will
continue to drive the development of scattered showers and
thunderstorms through the evening hours. Storms that developed
and remain stationary have been producing rainfall rates around
2 inches per hour. Some storms could produce even more intense
rainfall.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation
and persons in the watch area should be alert to the potential for
heavy rainfall and be prepared to take quick action and move to
higher ground.
