Statement as of 2:58 AM PDT on April 25, 2015

... Beneficial precipitation expected through tonight...

Much needed valley rain and mountain snow will continue through
tonight. Most valleys will receive between 0.10 and 0.30 inches of
rain by later Saturday night. Snow levels will drop to most valley
floors Saturday evening... but the majority of the precipitation
will be over. Valley accumulations of up to one inch above 5500
feet are possible. The mountains will pick up 3-7 inches... with
locally higher amounts possible.

Isolated thunderstorms are also expected today. Some thunderstorms
could contain small hail and graupel... which could result in
slippery roads for brief periods.

Due to the timing of the system... travel impacts will be minimal.
While some localized slick spots are possible from snow... small
hail and graupel... the main threat will be from lowered
visibility. Plan your trip accordingly if traveling over the
passes and summits... especially if recreating in the high country.
