Nowcast | as of 10:32 PM MST on March 2, 2015

Through 1 am MST...areas of rain and higher elevation snow showers will continue across central and western New Mexico behind an eastward advancing cold front. Rain amounts will generally be a tenth of an inch or less...with a couple inches of snow possible above 7000 feet. In addition...windy conditions will continue with occasional gusts to between 35 and 45 mph...especially in the mountains. The combination of windy conditions with snow will create patches of blowing snow in the jemez and Sangre de Cristo Mountains with visibilities occasionally limited to near one quarter mile.
