morning...

The Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow is now in effect until 11
am MST this morning.

* Snow accumulations... additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
around the Santa Fe Metro area. Additional amounts of 5 to 10
inches in the Sandia and Manzano Mountains.

* Timing... snow will continue through the morning before slowly
moderating temperatures result in rising snow levels by midday.

* Winds... significant winds are not expected.

* Snow levels... temperatures will be cold enough for snow at all
locations through the morning.

* Local impacts... treacherous travel conditions are expected due
to snow covered and icy roads and reduced visibility in
falling snow. This includes Interstate 25 and Interstate 40.
