Through 800 PM MDT...thunderstorms will remain active near the New Mexico Colorado line between Chama and Arboles...over and just north of the Chuska Mountains in The Four Corners region as well as the southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Overall coverage will remain isolated...with an overall downward trend in coverage as sunset draws closer. Movement will generally be toward the northeast at 10 to 15 mph. The exception to the decreasing trend will be The Four Corners where renewed shower development will be possible after sunset...particularly near Shiprock...Farmington and Chaco Canyon. The main weather related concern from any of the passing showers or storms through early evening will be localized but strong gusty winds up to 45 or 50 mph.
