Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop early this afternoon across northwestern New Mexico...including the chuska...jemez...and southern San Juan Mountains of San Juan...McKinley...Sandoval...and Rio Arriba counties. Before 2 PM...this activity will drift to the north northeast at 10 to 15 mph...resulting in rainfall of a few hundreths to around two tenths of an inch in isolated locales. Wind gusts to around 35 mph and a few cloud to ground lightning strikes are also possible.
