... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM MST this
afternoon...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow remains in effect until 4
PM MST this afternoon.

* Snow accumulations... additional 1 to 4 inches of snow are
expected above 8500 feet today... with the heavier totals
favoring west and southwest facing slopes.

* Timing... periods of heavy snow can be expected today with a
brief lull in coverage tonight into Monday morning. Heavy snow
will become more widespread Monday afternoon into Tuesday.

* Winds... west winds 10 to 20 mph near the crest of the Sangre de
Cristo.

* Snow levels... temperatures will be cold enough for snow at
locations near and above 8500 feet... with a mix of rain and snow
below 8500 feet.

* Local impacts... difficult travel conditions due to snow packed
and icy roadways are expected at times in the high country along
with reduced visibility in locally heavy snow. Structural integrity
issues may arise due to the weight of heavy snow.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
