morning...

The Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow is now in effect until 11
am MST this morning.

* Snow accumulations... additional accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.

* Timing... snow will continue through the morning before slowly
moderating temperatures result in rising snow levels by midday.

* Winds... significant winds are not expected.

* Snow levels... temperatures will be cold enough for snow at all

to snow covered and icy roads and reduced visibility in
falling snow. This includes Interstate 40 between Grants and
Albuquerque and Highway 550.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather

emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food...
and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
