Fast moving...isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect western and central portions of New Mexico through the remainder of the evening. The strongest activity will be located east of a line from Crownpoint to Dulce and west of a line from Questa to Santa Fe. This activity will move off towards the northeast at 45 mph. Strong gusts between 45 to 55 mph...pea sized hail and frequent cloud to ground lightning will be the main affect. Rain amounts with any one cell will generally be less than a quarter of an inch. The communities of Dulce...Chama...Espanola and Embudo will be affected by these storms. Elsewhere...isolated showers and storms could rapidly develop and affect southern and central portions of the Rio Grande Valley as well as the western and central mountains.
