Isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue across western and central portions of New Mexico through the mid evening hours. The most pronounced activity will be found across northern Rio Arriba as well as eastern Catron and western Socorro counties. Storm movement will remain brisk between 45 to 55 mph. The stronger storms will contain wind gusts between 45 to 55 mph and sometimes higher...frequent cloud to ground lightning and pea sized hail. Heavy rain up to a quarter of an inch in 15 minutes will also be possible.
