... Irregular line of thunderstorms moving through... Very heavy rain and intense lightning will accompany thunderstorms moving through Gloucester, Atlantic, southeast Burlington, ocean and soon to be Cumberland County in south Jersey. The rain has topped an inch in several spots and caused street and Highway flooding with winds of 30 to 40 mph. The storms were moving to the southeast at 25 mph and will be off the coast before 3 am. Other scattered showers and thunderstorms were still moving through southeast Pennsylvania and will pass over the same general area before 4 am. Eberwine

... Record low temperature set at Atlantic City... The temperature at the Atlantic City International Airport dropped to 54 degrees early this morning, establishing a new record for the date. The previous record low temperature for July 11 was 55 degrees set in 1998.
