Flood Warning
Statement as of 10:59 PM EDT on March 18, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Passaic river at Pine Brook.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:00 PM Thursday the stage was 21.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 19.9 feet by
Saturday morning.
1059 PM EDT Thu Mar 18 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Passaic river at Chatham.
* Until Friday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:46 PM Thursday the stage was 6.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early tomorrow afternoon.
