... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 am EST early
this morning...
... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from this evening through
Thursday evening...

* locations... portions of northeast New Jersey.

* Hazard types... freezing rain overnight... then heavy snow
Wednesday night into Thursday.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches... along
with around a trace of ice.

* Timing... freezing rain will change to plain rain by Wednesday
morning. Snow develops late Wednesday night and continues
through Thursday afternoon.

* Impacts... snow covered surfaces... coated with ice... will make
traveling difficult at times. Hazardous travel conditions are
expected Wednesday night and Thursday due to greatly reduced
visibilities and significant snow accumulations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
