Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 3:43 AM EST on March 01, 2015

... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 10 am this morning to 4 am
EST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow... sleet... and freezing rain... which is in
effect from 10 am this morning to 4 am EST Monday. The Winter
Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.

* Hazard types... snow... then sleet and freezing rain.

* Ice accumulations... around one quarter to one third of an inch.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches.

* Timing... snow will overspread the area later this morning into
this afternoon. A transition to sleet and freezing rain should
start occurring during the mid to late afternoon and continue
into the evening. Precipitation will taper off overnight.

* Impacts... expect slippery traveling and walking conditions to
start developing on untreated surfaces today and tonight.
Expect travel delays if driving. Isolated power outages
possible.

* Temperatures... in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving. Please give yourself plenty of distance between yourself
and all vehicles around you. Also give yourself extra time to
reach your destination.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
