Winter Weather Advisory, Winter Storm Watch
Statement as of 12:58 AM EST on March 04, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this
morning...
... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from this evening through
Thursday evening...

* hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Snow and sleet accumulations... the potential for 4 to 8 inches
on Wednesday night and Thursday. The amount of snow accumulation
will depend upon how quickly the rain changes to snow, if sleet
lasts long during the transition and if the northern edge of
the heavy precipitation shield extends north of Interstate 80.

* Ice accumulations... up to a tenth of an inch overnight.

* Timing... light freezing rain and drizzle overnight. Rain late
Wednesday should change to snow, possibly heavy at times,
Wednesday night and continue Thursday.

* Impacts... hazardous conditions on untreated surfaces overnight.
There is the potential for significant travel impacts Wednesday
night and Thursday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

This Winter Weather Advisory means that freezing rain will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibility. Use extra caution if driving, especially on bridges
and other elevated surfaces.

A Winter Storm Watch means that there is a potential for
significant snow or sleet accumulations that may impact travel.
