... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to 9 am EST Wednesday...

* locations... the Pocono region in Pennsylvania, as well as
Sussex County in New Jersey.

* Hazard types... snow, sleet and freezing rain.

* Snow and sleet accumulations... around 1 to 2 inches.

* Ice accumulations... up to around a tenth of an inch.

* Timing... snow will overspread the area during the afternoon
hours. The snow will transition to sleet this evening before
changing to freezing rain for the overnight hours.

* Impacts... untreated surfaces will become snow covered and icy.
Even a light amount of ice could lead to hazardous travel
conditions.

* Temperatures... in the 20s this afternoon, rising to near 32
degrees tonight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

This Winter Weather Advisory means that snow, sleet and freezing
rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibility. Use extra caution if driving.
