The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
central Atlantic County in southern New Jersey...
southeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...

* until 915 PM EDT

* at 513 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a
thunderstorm. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen
and additional heavy rain is expected as the storm is nearly
stationary.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Egg Harbor City... Port Republic... Wading River... Pomona... Batsto
and Elwood-Magnolia.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause ponding of water in
urban areas... highways... streets and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage areas and low lying spots. Do not attempt to travel
across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.
