Moderate to heavy snow will continue to fall across the area

Valley... New York City... southern Connecticut... and western Long
Island through the remainder of the morning. This will reduce
visibilities down to a half to quarter mile. Temperatures will
drop to right near and below the freezing mark shortly after this
moderate to heavy snow begins... allowing for snow accumulations
which will be mainly between 3 to 5 inches by early afternoon.
Locally higher amounts will be possible. This will create
slippery and hazardous travel conditions. Anyone driving on the
roads should drive extra slowly and carefully and expect
deteriorating conditions this morning.
