Special Statement
Issued: 8:23 AM EST Feb. 14, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Low water levels on the tidal Delaware River today...

A continuing northwest wind and cold temperatures are contributing
to a lowering of water levels along the tidal Delaware River. The
river will be going through low tide this morning and early afternoon.
Water levels will drop to around 2.0 feet below mean lower low water.
These low water levels may create navigation problems on the river
and also near the river's tidal tributaries.

The low tide occurs at Reedy Point, Delaware around 1020 am. Low
tide occurs at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania around 100 PM. Low tide
occurs at Trenton, New Jersey around 250 PM.

The northwest winds will subside later this afternoon. This should
cause water levels to return back to normal levels.
