	Special Weather Statement
Statement as of 9:11 PM EDT on July 11, 2009 ... Showers and thunderstorms will impact northern and central New Hampshire and the mountains of western Maine through 1000 PM EDT... At 907 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a cluster of showers and thunderstorms extending from 6 miles west of Canaan to 10 miles north of New London... moving northeast at 40 mph. This cluster of showers and thunderstorms will affect areas in and around Lost River... Franconia Notch State Park... Forest Lake State Park... Dalton... cardigan mountain State Park... Rumney... Grafton... Bethlehem... Danbury and North Woodstock through 1000 PM EDT. As much as one inch of rain may fall in less than 30 minutes. The additional rain can result in localized street flooding... as well as flooding in the low lying areas. Since this area received heavy rain earlier this evening... the additional rain may also result in sharp rises in small rivers... creeks and streams.
