The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow... which is in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.
Heavy snow had developed across extreme southeast Nebraska near the Kansas border this morning and is expected to continue for at least another hour or two. Reports of 4 to 6 inches of snow have been received and additional accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous.
