The Flood Warning continues for
the Platte River at Brady North Channel.
* Until further notice.
* At 6:00 am Tuesday the stage was 8.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall slowly.
* Impact... at 9.0 feet... moderate flood stage. West of Brady
flooding occurs between McCullough Road and East Island Road and
Interstate 80. East of Brady flooding of agricultural land occurs
near Interstate 80. Both of the north channels may overflow.

* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At 06/02 19:45 the stage was 12.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 12.9 feet late
tonight... then begin to fall slowly.

At 1040 PM CDT/940 PM MDT/... National Weather Service Doppler radar
was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles
east of Elsmere to 6 miles west of Halsey to 12 miles southwest of
Thedford to 6 miles west of Tryon to 11 miles southeast of Arthur...
and moving east at 35 mph.

Hail up to the size of nickels and wind gusts up to 50 mph are
expected with these storms... along with frequent dangerous lightning.
