* Flood Warning for
the Salt Creek at Greenwood.
* From this morning to Friday evening... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 11:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 4.1 feet... or 15.9 feet below
flood stage.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this morning and continue to
rise to near 26.0 feet by this evening. The river will fall below
flood stage by early tomorrow.
* Impact... at 24.0 feet... widespread flooding occurs throughout The
Reach.

* until 245 am CDT

* at 1138 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This may cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen in
some areas... and additional heavy is expected in the next 1 to 2
hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Omaha... Bellevue... Papillion... La Vista... Ralston... Gretna...
Ashland... valley... Springfield... Yutan... Louisville... Waterloo...

At 1256 am CDT... Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Elmwood to near
Cook... and moving northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
