	Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 12:30 PM CST on November 16, 2009 ... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday... A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday. Heavy snow had ended across all but the extreme southeast corner of Nebraska around Falls City early this afternoon. Additional 1 to 2 inch accumulations are possible this afternoon in the area around Falls City... but little additional snowfall is expected elsewhere snowfall of 6 to 7 inches has been reported across the far southern border area between Falls City and Fairbury with no snow at Auburn and Tecumseh. Slushy and icy roads have resulted in some accidents in the area. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
