... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Tuesday...
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Tuesday.
A mix of precipitation consisting of rain and snow is expected to
gradually chance over to all snow by late this morning... then
continue as snow through tonight. Accumulating snowfall for the
most part will happen in areas along and south of the Interstate
80 corridor with anywhere from 1 to 4 inches by Tuesday morning.
The heaviest amounts though are expected to occur south of a line
from about Crete to Shenandoah Iowa with 5 to 6 inches possible.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving. Allow extra travel time to reach your destination on
Monday.
