Frost Advisory
Statement as of 3:34 PM CDT on October 13, 2008
... Frost advisory in effect from 4 am to 9 am CDT Tuesday...
The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley has issued a frost
advisory... which is in effect from 4 am to 9 am CDT Tuesday.
A cold high pressure system will move south into the region
overnight. Clear skies and light winds will provide favorable
conditions for areas of frost as surface temperatures are forecast
to drop into the lower to mid 30s overnight. Low lying areas will
be most susceptible to frost.
A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor
plants may be killed if left uncovered.
