* Flood Advisory for... an ice jam in... North Central Cass County in southeastern Nebraska... southeastern Saunders County in east central Nebraska... southwestern Sarpy County in east central Nebraska...

* until 1030 am CST Friday

* at 945 am CST...emergency management reported that the ice jam which was located near Two Rivers State Recreation Area had released. The ice from this jam had broken up and will be working its way downstream. This advisory replaces the other advisory which was issued on Tuesday.

Although no serious flooding is expected...as this ice moves downstream...there may be one or two foot river fluctuations. If another ice jam forms...a warning will be issued.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated...or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.
