... Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 3 am to 10 am CST Monday...
The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Wind Chill
Advisory for wind chill... which is in effect from 3 am to 10 am
* Winds... northwest winds near 10 mph.
* Temperatures... overnight lows of 2 to 7 degrees below zero are
* Wind chill... the combination of winds and temperatures are
expected to result in wind chill values falling to near 20
degrees below zero.
* Impacts... the bitter cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills
can lead to frost bite. Cover all exposed skin if going outdoors.
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and wind will
combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost
bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If
you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
