Wind Chill Advisory, Winter Weather Advisory

... Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 3 am to noon CST Monday...
The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley is continuing the
Winter Weather Advisory for today... and has issued a Wind Chill
Advisory... which is in effect from 3 am to noon CST Monday.
* Timing... snow will continue across the area much of the
day... then tapering off to flurries late this afternoon and
* Accumulations... additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
are likely during the day... bringing total snowfall amounts into
the from 2 to 4 inch range.
* Impacts... the light snow will accumulate on roads and
visibilities may be reduced to less than a mile at times. The
roads may be slippery. Use caution while driving.
* Wind chill values... with temperatures dropping below zero later
tonight... and northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph... wind chill
values will drop to between 20 and 25 below from late tonight
through Monday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities... and use caution while driving.
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
