At 855 PM MST...Doppler radar was tracking a band of rain and light to moderate snow. This band was oriented southwest to the northeast from Bowman...to east of Dickinson...continuing northeast to Beulah and Garrison. The precipitation was moving northeast at 30 mph. Temperatures ahead of this line are warm enough to allow the precipitation to fall as rain initially. However...as the atmosphere cools...a change over to snow is anticipated. Persons in or near Mott...Elgin...Carson...Glen Ullin and center can expect visibilities over the next few hours to fall to near a mile at times in snow this evening. Minor accumulations are possible across these areas.
