... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 630 am CDT Friday
for southeastern Ransom... central Sargent and northwestern Richland
counties...

At 1009 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated showers continuing to
produce rain across the warned area maintaining the threat for
flash flooding.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gwinner... Milnor... Forman... Wyndmere... Walcott... Rutland and
Christine.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Wilkin County in west central Minnesota...
northwestern Otter Tail County in west central Minnesota...
southeastern Sargent County in southeastern North Dakota...
southern Richland County in southeastern North Dakota...

* until 730 am CDT Friday

* at 930 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wahpeton... Breckenridge... Perham... Pelican Rapids... Lake Lida...
Hankinson and Lidgerwood.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.

To report flooding... have the nearest law enforcement agency relay
your report to the National Weather Service forecast office.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated... or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.
It takes only a few inches of swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles
