A Blizzard Warning remains in effect until noon CST Saturday.
* Bands of snow..heavy at times... will fall today into tonight before diminishing on Saturday.
* Additional snowfall accumulation through 6 PM Saturday of 8 to 12 inches can be expected with locally higher amounts. This will make storm totals since Wednesday night of 12 to 20 inches.
* North winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph... causing significant blowing and drifting with widespread whiteout conditions.
* Plan now to stay where you are from Christmas day into Saturday. Interstate 29 is closed from the Canadian border to the South Dakota border until further notice. Road conditions and closures for the Dakotas and Minnesota can be found by dialing 511.
