Since the snow is combined with north-northwesterly winds blowing at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph...visibilities less than one hundred feet are common. State and County agencies have issued numerous no travel advisories. Please reconsider travel today. If you must travel...take a winter survival kit with you.

A Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/ Saturday.
* Heavy snow will continue today across portions of central North Dakota. Heavy snow will develop late this morning and continue into Saturday.
* Additional snow accumulations today through Saturday will range from 10 to 13 inches.
* Wind chill values between 20 and 30 below zero will continue. Exposed skin can freeze within 30 minutes.
* Northwesterly winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph today through Saturday will create blizzard conditions. Visibilities will be reduced to 50 feet during this time.

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely.
