The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CDT this morning.
Areas of dense fog developed across south central North Dakota this morning... with visibilities falling to 1/4 mile or less at times. Motorists should use caution when entering foggy areas... especially when the fog is occurring at uncontrolled Railroad crossings and intersections.
Areas of fog will gradually dissipate after sunrise.
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
